Between… between nature and historic downtown Douglasville I found lots of beauty
Between the banks of this creek I found an abundance of rock, both big and small and lots of color all around
Between these windows and these arches I found history abundant. I wonder what old souls might be lurking behind these windows and between these walls?
Between the huge boulders and the beauty of the fall leaves I found my hubby!
Between these two old historic and decaying buildings I found this quaint little building that had been renovated.
Between these huge boulders I found gurgling waters reflecting the colors of the overhead trees and capturing their fallen leaves between them.
Between these arches many a bride has walked to meet her waiting groom, including my oldest daughter.
Between blurred and beautiful edges, clarity awaits.
Between these banks the trains follow the railroad tracks between my town and the next.
Between these rocks and roots and leaves, many a critter finds a home.
Between these ducks hunkered down against the wind, one lone duck braves the cold to get through to the lake.
Between the black and white we can sometimes find beautiful color to brighten our day.
And sometimes between the noise and haste we can just find peace to reflect on the blessings that have been bestowed upon us.
Lovely pictures!
Thanks Katie!
Beautiful!
Thanks!

Thanks Angelia! Merry Christmas Eve to you too and Merry Christmas DAY too!
Nice pictures. You found alot of between things.
Thanks. Most of these were taken over the last month or two.
These are wonderful – and your words that go with them. I especially like “Between blurred and beautiful edges, clarity awaits.” That one steals home!
Thanks so much! It was a moment of clarity! Hahaha… couldn’t help that one. I have a very weird and snarky sense of humor.
I love your historic town photos…beautiful!
Thanks for stopping by too!:)
Thanks! I took a lot more of them but I’m sure I’m more interested in them than anyone else!
Wow! I think you completely and totally bested this challenge. Awesome. This is amazing. I love to see how you are enjoying your camera!

Thanks for the compliment but she is so much more talented than I am. Merry Christmas to you too!
You’re making me miss Georgia…
Sorry. I really missed it when we moved away about 20 years ago. I could only stay away two years and then we moved right back! Maybe you’ll be back?
Spectacular interpretation of this week’s theme!

Wonderful collection of photos.
Thanks so much and thanks for stopping by.
Love all the photos you selected. You took time and gave us an image that most of us may have missed. Just beautiful and inspiring. The second to the last photo is my favorite, ” in a world in black and white…even grey and blue, we will find in between colors that bring hope and joy.”
Wishing you all the love, joy, peace and good health this Christmas and everyday. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thanks for sharing and for the inspiring comments.
Thanks so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will be back.

By the way, as far as I can tell, you ducks are actually Canadian geese. 🙂
Canadian Geese in Georgia? Okey dokey then! I guess they stopped off while they were flying south for the winter! Thanks for stopping by!
Yeah, those Canadian geese DO get around. I tried following your blog by clicking on the +follow thingy at the top. I don’t know if it worked or not. It showed -Unfollow, but +follow again when I came in a second time.
Thanks Cris. I did get an email that you were following. Thanks!
